For Her Moment Journal

in her own words

Looking back, for her moment began with something surprisingly simple

I was still in university, always looking for clothes to wear to class. I kept thinking, I wish this felt a little more like me. So I started making them myself. At first, they were only meant for me

I never imagined it would grow into what it is today

As time went on, people began wearing what I made. Some loved it, some shared honest criticism, and both meant a lot to me. They made me realize there was still so much I didn’t know. That curiosity led me to study fashion more seriously

The more I learned, the more I fell in love with the process,

Write the journal story here.I found myself spending hours collecting references, noticing tiny details, and understanding why certain clothes could make someone feel a certain way.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped making clothes simply because I needed them. I kept making them because I genuinely loved the process

Maybe that was when I began finding my own voice.

Write the journal story here. There’s one reason I’ve continued building for her moment.

Not because everything has always gone smoothly, but because I started seeing these pieces living lives of their own.

Someone wore them to university. Someone packed them for a trip. Someone chose them for work, for coffee with friends, or for an ordinary afternoon that probably didn’t feel important at the time. Quietly, For Her Moment became a small part of other women’s everyday lives.

Watching something that once existed only in my imagination become part of someone else’s story is still one of the most rewarding feelings I know.

And somehow, that has always been enough to make me create the next piece.

In Her Own Words came from that same feeling.

This collection also brought wonderful people into my life.

Azib showed me a different way of seeing through photography. Aldo patiently created the stop-motion visuals, frame by frame, until there were 854 of them. Aliya spent hours with us, trying every pose, climbing, sitting, standing, moving from one corner to another, simply because we were all looking for the image that felt right. Hakim, who comes from an agency background, and Kevin, who usually spends his days behind a coffee bar, somehow became our video team, filming everything on a phone, Dimas, who patient helping me with the website. Looking back, it still makes me smile.

They reminded me that nothing meaningful is ever created entirely on our own.

And maybe that’s another reason I believe in for her moment

Not only because of the clothes we make, but because every piece carries the time, care, trust, and kindness of the people who helped bring it to life.

If there is one thing I hope In Her Own Words becomes, I hope it does not end with my story,

I hope that one day, someone puts on For Her Moment while simply living her life, and later looks back to realize it quietly became part of her story

And maybe, without even realizing it, she will be writing her own story too
